Rocking the Cradle – 2016 Annual Conference
Local Government has typically in the past been seen as a steady and conservative in its delivery of services to each community. Innovation has been seen in pockets throughout the industry, but it hasn’t been at the forefront of day to day business.
The speakers selected for this years’ conference are varied in nature and will provide diversity in areas of innovation from continuous improvement, tourism, marketing, social media and community services and have been chosen because their topic/story could be moulded, utilised or used as an idea generator for Local Government.
This year, our Annual Conference will be held from Wednesday 12th October to Friday 14th October 2016 on the North West Coast in the beautiful Cradle Mountain.
Each year we have around 60 delegates attending our conference from Councils across the State. The delegates that attend this event are the key decision makers in Local Government. Conference delegates are served their meals and refreshments in the trade display area, providing opportunities for corporate members to network. The Conference social functions are also ideal occasions to extend these friendships
